Organizing Space & Materials
The physical space in which homeschoolers work may be different than that of students enrolled in schools. I can help you organize your space and materials from various curricula you may use.
Time Management
Homeschoolers may need to manage their time differently than students enrolled in schools. I can help your teen make productive use of typically larger open blocks of time that homeschoolers have in their daily schedule. I can also help them understand how to balance assignments across multiple providers who may use different learning management platforms (Schoology, Google Classroom, Canvas, etc.).
Test-Taking & Study Skills
Given the flexibility of homeschooling, many homeschooled high schoolers may need additional supports in building up their test-taking and study skills. These can be essential for success in AP, Dual Enrollment, and later college classes. I can also help students in building up their note-taking skills.
